Survey FAQ

1. Sign up for a survey company
2. Fill out your profile
3. Wait for email surveys to be delivered to you!

Q. Why do I have to fill out profile questionnaires after I sign up?

A. These are what help you qualify for surveys that fit your demographic.  They take some time to fill out but you only have to do it once and you'll receive more surveys if you do.

Q. How many survey companies should I sign up with?

A. The more you sign up with, the more survey opportunities you will receive and the more money you will make.  Start with my top three and then sign up for more if you feel you would like to.

Q. I found a website that claims they will help me make money taking surveys but I have to pay $30 to join.  Is this legit?

A. No!  All legit survey companies are free to join!  This is simply a scam -- once you join they show you a list of survey companies that you then have to sign up with.  You can do this all free, never pay for this!

Q. I keep getting email surveys that say the incentive is a sweepstakes entry.  Should I take these surveys?

A. No.  I personally only take surveys that offer an actual incentive (cash or points), otherwise it is a waste of time because you are essentially taking the survey for free.  If you take surveys that only offer a sweepstakes entry, soon that is all they will send you and you will never get cash surveys from that company.

Q. I got a survey about a product and they want me to try it for them.  Is this for real?

A. Yes!  Product tests are great!  Some companies survey you about a new product and then send it to you to try for a time.  You will usually be asked to complete  a follow-up survey as well, and then you get to keep the product!    I've tested toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, gourmet chocolates, meal kits, crackers, etc!  They're a lot of fun and you get paid to try the hottest new products!

Q. I get lots of survey invitations but rarely qualify for the survey.  What am I doing wrong?

A. Nothing!  Most surveys are looking for people of a certain demographic.  After the first few questions of a survey, you may not fit their criteria.  This is okay!  Signing up for lots of survey companies increases the chances that you will qualify.

Q. Should I lie on a survey in order to qualify?

A. No!  Never!  There are always more surveys to come.

Q. How do I get paid?

A. Refer to the individual company's terms.  Most pay by either Paypal or check.
